Dr. Vinita Srivastava, also known as Dr. S., is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology
with fellowship training in glaucoma. She is recognized as a leading expert in the research, diagnosis and
treatment of glaucoma and performs the latest surgical techniques, including minimally invasive
glaucoma surgery (MIGS), which includes the iStent Inject and Xen Gel. Dr. S. also performs cataract
surgery with premium IOLs.
Dr. S. graduated magna cum laude from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science. She received
her medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. She
completed both her residency in Ophthalmology and her fellowship in glaucoma at the Indiana
University Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute.
Dr. Srivastava is an avid traveler who loves attending musicals, plays, and spending
time with family and friends. In addition, she participates in various charities, including the Florida
Special Olympics.
